Your Trust is a firm infused with the Rotterdam mentality. Meaning that our team consists of down-to-earth professionals who serve their clients with commitment, purpose and dedication. Rotterdam is also an attractive place to set up your Dutch base. With more than 600,000 inhabitants, it is the second largest city in the Netherlands. Many major national and multinational companies are already located here. The port is one of the four largest in the world. Rotterdam also has excellent road and public transport, plus an international airport. As the industrial powerhouse of the Netherlands, it is a logical and efficient location for both Your Trust and our broad clientèle.

The Netherlands is great country to invest in, or through which to channel your international investments in a sustainable way. Our stable political, economic and social climate, professional financial and communications infrastructures, long mercantile tradition and keen commercial mindset all contribute to this. In common with the rest of the Dutch business community, we at Your Trust are committed to upholding the Netherlands’ reputation as your gateway to Europe. As such, it is our pleasure to support international investors and start-ups in a professional and expert manner.

We are proud to call Rotterdam home. This lively, no-nonsense global port city, with its melting pot of cultures, offers international companies huge advantages thanks to its location and accessibility. In the second city of the Netherlands, as an entrepreneur you enjoy the unique Dutch combination of a well-educated population, a sound legal and fiscal environment, a comprehensive network of treaties and the quality and integrity of our trust offices. On top of all that, here you also benefit from the positive, no-nonsense mentality of the people of Rotterdam.

We are a reputable, professional firm committed to operating reliably, independently, transparently and sustainably at all times.

We provide management, domicile and corporate secretarial services. In this way we ensure that entrepreneurs and companies wishing to set up permanently in the Netherlands can focus fully upon their core business. From the moment of incorporation, we take all the legal, financial, fiscal and administrative burdens off your hands, whilst ensuring that your activities in the Netherlands comply with all applicable laws and regulations. As your management team on Dutch soil, we may operate at a distance physically, but functionally we are always at your side. Even clients to whom we provide only corporate secretarial services discover that we always support them personally, expertly and quickly.

Your Trust is dedicated to building lasting professional relationships based upon mutual trust and commitment. To ensure that we start off on the right footing, every client relationship begins with four key steps.

1. Assessment

We first evaluate your specific service needs and your expectations of our professional partnership.

2. Due diligence

For your and our protection, we check your organization’s background, corporate structure, cash flows and beneficial owners.

3. Formation and start-up

We provide full support in setting up your Dutch company, including assistance in opening bank accounts, establishing its financial administration, communication with external consultants and tax advisers and determining the company's annual agenda.

4. Day-to-day management

We manage, administer and control the company on a day-to-day basis, within your existing international organization and corporate structure.

Your Trust maintains a strategic partnership with DRV Accountants & Advisers for financial, administrative and tax services. We also work regularly with other accountancy and consultancy firms, including the international Big Four.

Rick van Dijk managing director Your Trust

Managing director

Tax lawyer Rick van Dijk founded Your Trust in 2011 with one clear goal in mind: to provide expert management of the Dutch branches of international companies. As Managing Director, he is responsible for the firm’s overall direction and leads its tight-knit team with pride and enthusiasm. First and foremost, however, he serves as an active director of managed companies. Rick’s clients benefit from his close personal involvement with their Dutch entities and the challenges they face, and in him they find a knowledgeable sparring partner with a broad range of interests. He is also responsible for assessing the fiscal acceptability of legal structures and transactions overseen by Your Trust.

In addition, as a member of the board of Holland Quaestor he is an active advocate of an ethical and sustainable Dutch trust sector. And he is a vigorous promoter of the Rotterdam region as a business location for international companies.

After reading Tax Law at Leiden University, Rick worked as fiscal adviser at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte and then in business development and customer relationship management at several large trust offices before launching his own firm in 2011.
